An abundance of sunshine and close racing made for another successful Jefferson 500 last weekend at Summit Point Motorsports Park. This year the Vintage Racer Group’s signature Mid-Atlantic event featured the Marlboro Motor Raceway Reunion, featuring cars that raced at the circuit located just outside Washington D.C. in the ’50s and ’60s.
Also of note were the highlighted race groups of the IMSA RS/Trans Am2.5 Reunion, and Formula Ford Challenge Series.
PA-based photographer Bill Stoler travelled to Jefferson County to capture the sights of the weekend. Look for more of his photos and a trackside writeup about the event in the next issue of Vintage Motorsport,
