Much to the joy of series regulars, the Vintage Racer Group (VRG) returned to the challenging New Jersey Motorsports Park last weekend for their penultimate race of the 2022 season. Vintage Motorsport contributor Bill Stoler was on hand to capture all the action from the popular road course in southern New Jersey.

Great weather, the familiar VRG laid-back vibe, and some superb driving made for a unanimous approval of the return from all participants.

This was the club’s first trip back to NJMP since 2018, but it is looking to make this a Fall-race staple on the VRG calendar—and it has already announced a 2023 race date of October 13-15.

Next up for VRG is its annual pre-Thanksgiving “Turkey Bowl” at Summit Point Motorsports Park, Nov. 18-20. For more info, click HERE.
