The September 24-25 Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts (SOVREN) Fall Finale at Pacific Raceways is the last chance for drivers to score points—and is often the race weekend where season championships are decided.
“If points are not your thing, it is also the last chance this year to enjoy racing and socializing with your fellow drivers and officials,” SOVREN organizers remind.
Crew and worker lunchtime rides around the venerable Kent, Wash., race track are a big feature at this event, and are always very popular: Everyone is urged to show up early.
“September weather can be beautiful but cool—come prepared for fall weather,” add the SOVREN folk. “If you haven’t been out much this year, there is a great opportunity for some quality seat time. If you have been out already, just come out anyway for one last good time before winter sets in …
Spectators are welcome and tickets will be available at the gate (which opens daily at 9:00 a.m.).
