Founder and jovial host Brian Redman has once again extended an invitation to owners of modern high-performance road cars and racing cars of every vintage to his Targa 66 gathering at Palm Beach International Raceway, this year scheduled for February 11-13.
The 2022 Targa is the 31st opportunity to wring out the winter snow and rain to exercise on the 10-turn, 2.2-mile state-of-the art South Florida road course. On offer? Three days of track use and on the order of 6-8 hours of track time through the weekend.
For the same registration fee, members may bring up to three cars. Additionally, two family members may drive during the weekend.
“Targa 66 is a relaxed event to get race cars ready for the 2022 racing season or to just exercise them at an interesting track,” said Redman, the world-renowned sportscar and Formula 5000 racing champion who founded Targa 66 in 1991.
“It is a nice time of year to visit Florida, with February Palm Beach temperatures expected to be in the high 70s,” Redman added.
The event’s host hotel is the Hilton Garden Inn in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
