Festivities at the 2021 Put-in-Bay Sports Car Races & Reunion began Tuesday, Sept. 21 on South Bass Island with the a car show at Heineman’s Winery, a race car parade on the original race course, and a welcome wine and cheese reception “Recollections Roundtable” with Ed Eichenlaub who raced on the original course in 1958. Heavy rain and winds pushed the racing schedule back a day, but VM photographer Bill Stoler is sticking it out to show the wonderful sights from this unique midwest event.
