Milan, ITALY — In its first-ever Milan sale – and the first RM Sotheby’s auction in Europe to welcome back bidders to a live event – the company achieved sales totals of more than $14.1 million.

An early production 1988 Lamborghini LM002 — one of just 328 made between 1986 and 1993 — smashed its pre-sale estimate to sell for $476,532, a world record auction price for an LM002.
