Jacksonville, FL — The iconic No. 58 Brumos Racing Porsche Riley, which took the checkered flag at the 47th Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2009, is now on display at the 35,000 square-foot facility housing the Brumos Collection.

On loan from Action Express Racing, the newest addition to the Collection’s “Frontrunners” exhibit earned a place in motorsports history by finishing .167 seconds ahead of the Chip Ganassi Racing Lexus Riley. The champion Porsche was driven by David Donohue, Darren Law, Antonio Garcia and Buddy Rice.

In its temporary new home, the Daytona Prototype sits alongside some of the most noteworthy race cars ever to have taken part in endurance competition. In addition to a selection of legendary Porsches, the Collection features historic models from Peugeot, Miller, Bugatti and other pre-eminent marques.

The loan of the car comes in follow-up to last month’s Daytona endurance race where the Porsche Riley joined five other Brumos race cars in honorary laps along the Daytona circuit.

The Brumos Collection is open Thursday through Saturday each week, with first admissions at 10 a.m. and last at 4 p.m. ET each day.
