Walworth, WI — Mecum will follow its Jan. 7-16 Kissimmee sale with a Jan. 22-23 auction of some 200 vehicles from Rick Treworgy’s Muscle Car City Museum, closing Jan. 17 after a 14-year run in Punta Gorda, Fla.
The sale — to be conducted at the museum — will also feature an extensive selection of memorabilia from the museum, with all offerings selling at no reserve.
Treworgy’s Muscle Car City exhibit is one of the largest GM muscle car and Corvette collections in the country and represents more than 80 years of American automotive history. After spending decades personally collecting and curating the cars and memorabilia, and after 14 years of sharing his collection with the public, Treworgy has decided to retire. He intends to keep about one-fourth of his collection.
