Indianapolis, IN — From Arie Luyendyk in 1990, to 2020 Indianapolis 500 winner Takuma Sato, sculptor William Behrends has created the likeness of more than 30 Indianapolis 500 winners for the Borg-Warner Trophy.

Now learn more about his life, artistry and process in the IMS Museum’s Dec. 11 “Fuel Up Friday” Zoom Cast with Behrends from 8-9 a.m. ET. Hosted by IndyCar communications VP Dave Furst, it’s a unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at creating the Borg-Warner Trophy.

The event is free and open to the public; online registration is required.
