Barrett-Jackson Sets World Auction Sales Records at Scottsdale Sale


Scottsdale, AZ — Barrett-Jackson marked its return to in-person auctions with 27 world auction sales records at the Oct. 22-24 Scottsdale Fall sale.

The completely no-reserve docket included 442 vehicles that sold for more than $23.5 million, while 349 pieces of automobilia brought in over $634,000. The sale of three vehicles for charity tallied $845,000 to bring total sales to more than $24.9 million.

“The feedback from our attendees was overwhelmingly positive,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “Working closely with the City of Scottsdale and officials from WestWorld, we demonstrated that we could host live events and maintain the highest standards of safety. We’re excited to carry this excitement into our January 2021 Scottsdale auction.”

One of the world auction sales records went to the auction’s top seller, a 2018 Ford GT that sold for $1.21 million. On Thursday, world-champion rallycross driver Ken Block saw his 2016 Ford Focus RS RX sell for $200,000 to benefit Team Rubicon. Other charity vehicles were a 2019 Ford F-350 Lariat Custom Pickup that earned $275,000 for Building Homes for Heroes, and a 2020 Chevrolet Corvette that raised $370,000 for the Heartstrings Foundation.
