Concours Virtual Crowns Best of Show

London, ENGLAND — After winnowing down the best of the best, Concours Virtual chose a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR 722 driven to victory by Sir Stirling Moss in the 1955 Mille Miglia as its Best in Show winner. The record time set in that race remains unbeaten to this day.

Runner-up is a 1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero first unveiled at the 1970 Turin Motor Show.

And in third place is the 1970 Le Mans-winning Porsche 917 K Salzburg driven by Richard Attwood and Hans Herrmann through a rain-soaked contest to give Porsche its first of 19 overall Le Mans wins to date.

Winners were selected by an esteemed panel of judges that included former racers Derek Bell and Lyn St. James, as well as concours directors Sandra Button and Bill Warner.
