Hilton Head Island, SC — Students are invited to apply for the Volvo Club of America’s scholarship commemorating the life of Irv Gordon and his Guinness World Record achievement of driving his 1966 Volvo P1800S for 53 years, amassing more than 3.3 million miles.

Endowed by Castrol and administered through the Hilton Head Island Concours’ Driving Young America charity, the winning applicant will receive a $5,000 scholarship presented by the Volvo Club of America to an accredited, post-secondary school of the winner’s choice to study for a career in automotive technology.
Applicants must be the child or grandchild of a Volvo Club of America member or be endorsed by a Volvo Club of America member. Deadline to apply is Aug. 18, 2020. Get details and forms.
