Season 1 of VRG’s Virtual Racing In The Books; Season 2 Starts Next Week

Daytona Beach, FL — The inaugural season of Vintage Racer Group’s Virtual Racing League concluded Tuesday (June 9) at Daytona International Raceway with the VRG Virtual Cup. Twenty participants took the start of a special one-hour twilight enduro.

“Darin Treakle completed his commanding season with a win at the VRG Virtual Cup, icing the cake of a season 1 championship,” said series chair Jim Karamanis. “Dave Fitzgerald took second place, with Ian Ditson coming in a close third. For the season, Treakle’s championship was followed by Stefan Vapaa, with Ditson rounding out the podium.”
