Walworth, WI — After reviewing the recent release of Indiana’s statewide “Back on Track” plan from the Governor’s office, Mecum has rescheduled Dana Mecum’s 33rd Original Spring Classic for July 10-18, positioning the auction safely beyond the state’s plan for achieving a status of “fully open” across the board. The auction had already been rescheduled to June 23-28 from its original May dates.
In addition, Mecum has expanded the sale at the Indiana State Fairgrounds to nine auction days, providing the opportunity for 2,500 consignments among the already-announced John Atzbach Collection and a collection of 9 Pontiac GTOs from Dana Mecum.
The company is encouraging on-site bidders to preregister in advance to help determine the level of need for Personal Protective Equipment and to accurately prepare for proper social distancing as deemed necessary at the time of the event. And as usual, Mecum will also offer phone and internet bidding for the sale.
