Wampum, PA – The PVGP Historics at Pitt Race began yesterday and runs through Sunday as it marks the beginning of a very busy week for the folks at PVGP.

The Pittsburgh International Race Complex (about 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh) has played host to this event since 2004. The racing features a variety of makes, years, and styles within 7 groups – including one for the marque of the year – Shelby. Following this weekend are a number of parties, car shows, and other events (visit www.pvgp.org/calendar for the entire list of events and details) leading up to the finale – The 37th Annual Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix at Schenley Park July 20-21. Free-to-spectate, this event draws huge crowds (approx. 250,000) and is one that really should be on the list if you are in the area.
