Olney, Bucks, UK — Masters Historic Racing will continue its popular Historic Formula One Series, Masters USA, in 2019 and will partner it with a new Masters Endurance Legends USA category, mirroring the successful equivalent in Europe.

Carrying the same eligibility as its namesake series that has been a huge success in its inaugural season in Europe, the new Legends USA series will also encompass some additional categories specific to the North American market, including Prototypes, GT, GTP and Group C cars up to 2015.
At each event in North America, the Legends USA series will offer four-time, 40-minute sessions for one- or two-driver teams, alongside the existing Masters Historic Formula One USA series.
MHR will begin the North American season with the June 1-2 Sonoma Speed Festival at Sonoma Raceway where the Historic Formula One cars will be joined by the new Legends USA field for the inaugural run of the series.
On July 12-14, MHR will head to the HMSA Sommet des Legendes at the Circuit Mont Tremblant where the Masters USA and Endurance Legends cars will be the star attractions. One week later, July 18-21, the WeatherTech International Challenge with Brian Redman at Road America will again feature both series.
MHR will then go to California for two back-to-back weekends at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca — where both the F1 and Legends grids will be featured at the Aug. 10-11 Monterey Pre-Reunion and at the Aug. 15-18 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
Masters will be present at the Nov. 1-3 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas with support races in Texas before the Legends series takes on the Daytona International Speedway Nov. 13-17 as part of the HSR Classic 24 Hour. MHR’s season will conclude with the Legends series races Dec. 4-8 at HSR’s Sebring Classic 12 Hours.
