Santa Monica, CA — One of the highlights for Gooding & Company’s Aug. 18-19 Pebble Beach Auction is a one-of-12 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/C that scored 99 points to win second in its class at the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
This car is from a distinguished private collection, and was refinished to its original 1966 racing livery in 2007 by Wayne Obry’s Motion Products, Inc. (MPI), regarded as the pre-eminent Ferrari specialist in the U.S. Four years ago, the car returned to MPI for a complete re-restoration of its bodywork and was mechanically rebuilt to exacting standards. With a sale estimate of $12 million to $16 million, it retains its ultra-thin bodywork, original chassis and original engine. Watch video of the 275 GTB/C.
