3/9/2010 - Group to Celebrate 55th Anniversary of Elva at VSCDA's Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival
We are celebrating the 55th Anniversary of ELVA at the historic Elkhart Lake circuit September 10-12, 2010 where many Elva sports racing cars have competed from the earliest days of ELVA Engineering driven by competitors such as Chuck Dietrich, Burdette Martin, Carl Haas and Rip Ripley among many others. Now, of course many of the cars are featured in Historic/Vintage Race meetings and we are looking forward to a spectacular gathering of all types of "Elva" from the earliest Elva-Climax to later Porsche- and BMW-powered sports racers; the various Formula Juniors; the Couriers and the spectacular V8-engined McLaren-Elva variants.
The event is going to be special, so make a note in your diary and be there! Details will become available from the VSCDA (ELVF) from their website and of course regular updates will appear here.
