Scottsdale, AZ — Russo and Steele Auction owners Drew and Josephine Alcazar announced Tuesday that they will hold the company’s 20th anniversary Scottsdale auction (Jan. 15-19) at a more than 20-acre site just south of the North 101 Freeway and Scottsdale Road.
“We are at the picture-perfect location for everything that has to do with Arizona Car Week, strategically situated in the northeast sector of the Valley of the Sun,” Drew Alcazar said. “Our team has put together an incredible layout that gives sellers and buyers the best platform to experience an unforgettable year.”
Among the site’s attributes are high-profile visibility, easy access with ample parking, a significantly larger display area and improved contingencies for adverse weather.
Back in June, Russo and Steele filed a lawsuit against Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers and Leake Auctions that accused Ritchie/Leake of “willfull and wanton malice” in taking over Russo and Steele’s auction venue at Salt River Fields for its flagship Scottsdale sale.
