VM Contributor Bill Nesius was on hand to capture the many sights last weekend at the 2019 SVRA Brickyard Vintage Racing International. The event takes place at the storied Indianapolis Motor Speedway and always draws a abundant crowd of racers and fans. We always enjoy seeing this 1976 Lola 332C that Brian Redman drove to the 1976 F5000 Championship – piloted here by Charles Parsons.

Doug Radix leads Group 1 onto the track in his 1955 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL.

Paddock veteran Chris MacAllister always brings lovely machines to the track and this 1971 McLaren M8F is no exception. His son, Alex MacAllister definitely showed what he and the car can do.

In a brief moment of solace, Turner Woodard’s 1975 Chevron B31 sits in front of the garages on pit lane.

Walter Vollrath was looking to get the most out of his 1972 Lola T-290.
