Hilton Head Island Concours’ Honorees Ready for Nov. 3-4 Spotlight

Hilton Head Island, SC — The Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance have named Peter & Merle Mullin as this year’s Pinnacle Collectors, and have selected Paul Ianuario as Honored Collector. Selections from their respective collections will highlight a Nov. 3-4 exhibit at the Port Royal Golf Club on Hilton Head Island.

The Mullins, founders of the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Calif., join previous Pinnacle Award recipients Ken Gross, Miles Collier, Fred Guyton, Joseph and Margie Cassini, and Sam and Emily Mann. The couple will bring three cars that showcase their passion for French automotive styling and the decorative arts that influenced the genre:

• 1937 Talbot-Lago T150-C-SS “Goutte D’Eau
• 1938 Dubonnet Hispano-Suiza H6B “Xenia”
• 1939 Delahaye Type 165 Cabriolet
Paul Ianuario of Duncan, S.C., who has spent 50 years cultivating his eclectic collection — spanning 1908-1972 — will bring four vehicles:
• 1908 Cadillac Double Tulip Touring
• 1910 Chalmers Detroit
• 1912 Hudson “Mile-a-Minute” Speedster
• 1929 Packard 645 Dietrich-bodied Individual Custom Convertible Coupe
