July 14-15 Goodwood FoS Will Spotlight Martini

Chichester, West Sussex, UK — Robert Kubica (pictured above), who made his return to Formula One this year after overcoming injuries he sustained in a 2011 rally crash, will be a guest of honor at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed as part of the 50th anniversary of Martini Racing.

Kubica, now Williams Martini Racing’s Reserve and Development driver, has also gotten behind the wheel in pre-season testing, as well as more recently during a practice session in Barcelona. He’s assisting the Williams Martini team in developing the FW41.

Martini Racing was first seen on the Porsche 910 in 1968 and has since become one of the most famous liveries in motorsport thanks to its unmistakable red, white and blue racing stripes.
It’s also the 25th anniversary for the FoS and to celebrate, the Duke of Richmond looks back at the birth of the event in this video.
