Scottsdale, AZ — The fifth annual Concours in the Hills auto show will be Saturday, Feb. 10 (rain date Feb. 17) at Fountain Park in Fountain Hills, AZ, also featuring exhibitor and sponsor booths.
The popular and casual gathering of automobile enthusiasts takes place in one of the most spectacular locations in the Phoenix area — on the grounds surrounding the park’s 560-foot fountain, one of the world’s tallest.
The event showcases a diverse range of high performance, sports, classic, race, muscle and hot-rod cars from both import and domestic manufacturers.
A minimum $60 entry fee per car goes to support the Phoenix Children’s Hospital with a goal of raising $100,000. Spectator admission and parking are free. Contact event organizer Peter Volny at email@example.com.
Awards will be given to Best Import, Best Domestic and Best of Show. The Ferrari Club of America Desert Region will conduct their own judging and other clubs may do so also.
The Concours is supported by the leading car clubs of Arizona representing Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, Maserati, Jaguar, Corvette, Viper, Ford GT, Lotus, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Alfa Romeo, DeTomaso, DeLorean, Mustang, Cadillac and others.
Scheduled to open the show are Arie Luyendyk, Bob Bondurant, Paul Tracy, Lyn St. James, Peter Brock and Harley Cluxton with an announcement of “Gentlemen and Ladies, Start Your Engines” at which time over 600 cars will fire up and rev their engines for the anticipated 15,000 or so attendees.
